I'm Tamy. I'm fortunate to live in England and I truly love it here. I love reading and creative writing; sunsets and warm weather. I love the simplicity of children and hope to have some of my own one day. I love love. Hopefully one day I'll find someone to love me. But for now, I'm content with music, books and family and friends to help pass the time. I like to think of myself as friendly and a shoulder to cry on in times of trouble. If you need a friend, call on me. It doesn't matter if we've never spoken or you decide to appear as anonymous. I'm here. Keep smiling. Life goes on.

Just to make one thing clear: I did not leave thecambridges for anything to do with the prank that was made. I was indifferent about that and would not leave the fandom because of it.

I sympathise with you re the royal fandom, it can be v. volatile, & I have also thought 'what am I doing here?' at times. But there are good sensible blogs that just focus on the history of royalty and are determinedly drama free, hope you stay : ) asked by bespectacled68

There are definitely wonderful drama free blogs. Usually I don’t see any drama thanks to the lovely people I follow. That isn’t really my issue. I’m tired of the constant need to uncover people as liars, or to find out about personal details which can be used against people. We’re not investigative journalists nor private detectives. I joined the royal fandom to find out more about the royals and to share my interest with other people. I didn’t make a tumblr over two years ago to read blogs about the things which make a person bad.

My other issue was more personal. I’m 90% certain that someone had created a blog on tumblr which was inactive, followed me and was indirectly tweeting about me. I dealt with it for about two weeks and then it just became ridiculous. Nobody’s opinions should be belittled just because you think somebody else said the same thing. People do often say the same thing - how else would people agree on anything? And if people do not know as much as you - don’t ridicule them, teach them. It’s just unnecessarily mean. I’d rather keep my opinions to myself than be ridiculed for having them.

Thanks for the message and sorry for my using this as a huge vent (lol). You are right about some blogs and if I could find a way to stop people looking at my blog and using it as something to mock then I’d definitely reopen it. :)
